Executive Search
Executive Search
We provide global executive search for Board of Directors, C-suite Executives, and business-critical top and middle management positions.
Our Executive Search Process is structured over 9 phases:
Phase I
Understanding the situation - briefing meetings with key stakeholders
This process is essential to the success of the assignment, as it enables us to plan our research with a thorough understanding of:
- The Client (history, business and financial strategies, operations, organizational dynamics e.g. structure, issues, priorities, cultural factors and management style).
- The Position (responsibilities, tasks and expected accomplishments, reporting relationships).
- The Ideal Candidate (professional experience, personal characteristics and determining superior performance characteristics).
- This information is summarized in a Profile description document approved by the client and will be presented to and handed out to potentially interested candidates.
Phase II
Identification of target companies and market intelligence, and development of Long List
By internal and external survey and research Case Rose International’s determines which persons qualify for the positions concerned. Case Rose International’s candidate database is consulted. Furthermore, systematic research is conducted into previously selected sectors of business and professional groups. Finally, “industry sources” are consulted. These are trusted confidents of Case Rose International, who have insight into relevant companies and functional groups. This is the phase that eventually results in the Long List of potential candidates
Phase III
Interviews and assessment of candidates
After a vast number of possible candidates have been identified, Case Rose International will perform interviews and various assessments in order to evaluate the candidates against the requirements of the position. We will keep the client informed orally and / or by e-mail in writing regarding the progress on a regular basis.
Phase IV
Presentation of selected candidates to the client – the Short List and presentation round
Case Rose International will present the interviewed candidates in a Short List meeting together with the initial evaluation from the interview. Based on this information, we will discuss with the client whom of the candidates should proceed in the process.
Case Rose International will prepare confidential personal candidate reports regarding the candidates, who are finally presented in a meeting with the client. This report includes personal and professional information concerning the candidate, as well as a final evaluation of the candidate for the particular position.
Phase V
Assistance with the final selection of candidates
We introduce the client to the candidates selected during the previous phase and, if needed, assist in the interview stage as well as in the final negotiation with the one chosen. Our client is of course responsible for the final choice of a candidate.
Phase VI
Reference checking and vetting
Case Rose International takes detailed professional references on the career and personality of the final candidate(s) from sources and information legally obtained, whether they originate from the candidate(s) or other sources. The reference and vetting process will be tailor-made to our client’s specific demands and market needs.
